MEET DAVID

David Belle Isle is Alpharetta through and through.

A sixth-generation Georgian and proud Alpharetta resident, David knows this city because he’s served this city. He was elected to the Alpharetta City Council in 2006 and worked to make this place a better home. Serving the city he loved was rewarding, and David won the trust of his community again when they elected him to the Mayor's office in 2012. What followed was six years of big swings and bigger results. David led the charge to reinvent Downtown, brought Avalon to life, landed a brand new technical college campus, and put Alpharetta on the map as the “Technology City of the South”. He launched the state's first technology commission and started a technology incubator that today serves over 50 startups.

David doesn't just talk about growth, he builds it.

And he never stopped serving. David has continued running his Alpharetta-based commercial real estate law firm and was tapped by Governor Brian Kemp to serve on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Department of Economic Development. He’s been involved in this community every single day since. He and his wife Candice have been married for over 20 years and are raising their two kids, Colton and Kayley, right here in Alpharetta—the same city he's poured his heart into for decades.

David Belle Isle has done this job before. He did it well. And he's ready to get back to work. He is running to be your Mayor, because David is Always for Alpharetta.
